Jesse Marie Peterman, MA, CCC-SLP
Jesse received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and her master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Kansas. Jesse’s experience includes working in public schools, private practice, and birth to three. She has performed diagnosis and treatment in the areas of autism, fluency, cognitive disorders, receptive/expressive and pragmatic language, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), articulation, early
intervention, and voice. She is skilled and educated in the Natural Language Acquisition framework and gestalt language processing. She also has training in the Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) approach for CAS treatment. Jesse takes a whole child and neurodiversity- affirming approach to therapy. She believes in creating individualized treatment for all her clients with a family-centered approach by developing strong trusting relationships with her clients and their families. Her clinical interests include gestalt Language processing, early intervention, apraxia, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and voice. She is dedicated to staying up to date with current research and is continually learning new therapy techniques to help her clients. Jesse is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist in the state of Connecticut and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
