What’s New At ATS?

Winter is finally making its way out the door and the birds and little green flower stems poking through the dirt are proof that spring is on its way! Spring and summer are also bringing new things to Advanced Therapy Solutions and we are excited to share them with you!

You might have noticed that our website just got a brand new facelift!  If you haven’t visited it in a while check it out and see what’s new.  Learn about what we offer and about each of our staff members.  We offer a variety of talent and experiences and we can’t wait to share them with you.  You might have noticed that we are also trying to be more active on our social media accounts.  If you don’t already follow us check us out so you don’t miss any exciting announcements.

Haircuts are back and we hope to be able to offer them on a more regular basis.  If you have a little one who struggles with haircuts we have the ability to support you!  Our therapists can work with your child beforehand to help him/her acclimate to wearing a cape and to become more comfortable with the sounds and feel of scissors or trimmers.  Our visiting hairdresser, Marcie Petrucci, is an occupational therapist as well as a professional hairstylist which gives her a unique ability to relate to and accommodate the needs of our ATS clients.  Haircuts are $30 each and cash payment is due at the time of service.  Haircuts are available only to current or past ATS clients.  See our haircut link on our homepage or call our office to find out the next available dates and to schedule your slot.

Summer camp signups are underway.  If this is something that you have been considering please don’t delay to reserve your spot!  Each session runs for a week in length for 3 hours a day.  Individual therapy sessions may be able to be added before or after camp depending on availability if desired.  Our summer camp program is not intended to be a summer daycare option nor is it a traditional camp where kids spend time outside singing songs and doing crafts.  Our summer camp is a therapy-based social group.  Kids will do fun activities but with therapeutic goals in mind.  This program is available for children ages 3-12.  For more information see the link on our website or give our office a call.

Lastly, but possibly the most exciting news is that we will be adding a child psychologist to our staff this summer on a limited basis.  We hope that by adding a psychologist to our ATS family we will finally be able to bridge the missing therapeutic piece for some of our children who are going through difficult situations and transitions.  We are excited to be able to offer extra support to those who are struggling.  Our child psychologist will be available for one on one sessions as well as for group social sessions run in conjunction with our occupational therapists.  More information regarding availability and additional details will be coming soon so please stay tuned for more announcements.
